01The brief

What it had to do

An all-day café with small-batch coffee and long tables. Customers want the menu, the hours and how to order ahead, and they want to feel the room before they walk in.

02What we built

Inside the concept

  • A home page with a steaming 3D coffee cup
  • A full menu page, plus the menu as a PDF
  • Pick-up ordering and table reservations
  • Story, sustainability, experiences and press pages
  • Opening hours, a map and a reviews page

03Design decisions

Colour and type

Espresso browns instead of black, so the page feels warm. One ember orange marks every action. A single handwritten flourish gives it a signature without hurting legibility.

04Speed

Measured, not promised

  • 82Performance
  • 100Accessibility
  • 100Best practices
  • 69SEO

Lighthouse 12.8.2, mobile preset, measured on 30 October 2026 against a copy of the concept served locally. SEO is held back on purpose: every concept is set to "noindex" so it never competes with real businesses in search.
